Open Water Course

Open Water Course

The PADI Open Water Course is one of the most popular scuba diving courses for beginners. It consists of three parts that ensure students are equipped with the necessary knowledge, skills, and experience to dive safely. The course starts with online training that teaches students about diving theory. Participants learn about the equipment used in diving, basic physics, dive safety, and dive planning. After completing online training, students attend five confined pool sessions, where they learn scuba diving skills like how to breathe properly, clear a regulator, clear a flooded mask and equalize the pressure in their ears.

The final part of the PADI Open Water Course is the four open water dives that take place in the ocean, lake, or other open body of water. During these dives, students apply the knowledge and skills they have learned under the supervision of a PADI Instructor.Open Water Course The dives may take place over two days, allowing students to explore and familiarize themselves with underwater life. Upon completion of the course, students receive a PADI Open Water Diver certification, which allows them to dive to a depth of 18 meters (60 feet) with a dive buddy.

Enrolling in the PADI Open Water Course is an excellent way to learn about scuba diving and experience the underwater world. Students not only gain valuable diving knowledge and skills, but also increase their confidence, overcome personal fears, and experience the beauty of nature’s underwater world. The course is open to individuals, couples, and groups and is a great activity for families or friends. It is important to note that theoretical knowledge and safe diving practices are essential when learning to scuba dive. Thus, trained and experienced PADI Instructors lead the course and ensure that divers are well prepared for their underwater adventures.
