The PADI Open Water Course is divided into three key components: knowledge development, confined water dives, and open water dives. The knowledge development portion covers the principles and basics of scuba diving through a mix of online learning and classroom sessions. Next, the confined water dives allow you to practice essential diving skills in a controlled environment, such as a pool. Finally, the open water dives give you real-world experience in a natural setting, typically in a lake or ocean. To enroll in the PADI Open Water Course, you must be at least 10 years old, possess adequate swimming skills, and be in good physical health. The course usually takes between 3 days to complete. Upon successful completion, you will receive a certification that is recognized worldwide, granting you the freedom to dive independently with a buddy up to a depth of 18 meters .Achieving your PADI Open Water certification opens up a new world of adventure.
